Calculation approach

Entered annual gross pay is preserved. For each monthly calculation, monthly gross pay is the annual amount divided by 12 and rounded to the nearest won; monthly mode uses the entered monthly gross pay. The entered non-taxable amount is subtracted from monthly gross pay for this model. Employee National Pension, health insurance, long-term care, employment insurance, estimated income tax, and local income tax are deducted, with deductions floored to KRW 10 where applicable. The 2026 employee health-insurance premium minimum of KRW 10,080 and maximum of KRW 4,591,740 are applied before long-term care is calculated. Estimated annual take-home subtracts 12 modeled monthly deduction periods from entered annual gross pay; monthly mode uses monthly gross pay × 12.
